After St. Roberts I went to Creighton Prep High School in Omaha. I stayed there all four years until I graduated in 2025. High school was a much different experience than middle school. There was much more freedom at school and much more freedom outside of school. I got my first car during high school and could drive myself around instead of always relying on my parents to get places. I did get into one car crash during my junior year that totaled the card, but it was the other person’s fault. I developed more relationships and grew more during this time than I had at any point in my life. During my senior year, I chose to go to Creighton University and have completed my freshman year and will be a sophomore in the fall of 2026. I thought I had more freedom during high school, but college was a huge step up. I completely lived on my own and could do whatever I wanted at all times of the day and night. I didn’t have a curfew or places I couldn’t go. However, there was more responsibility during this time. I had to do my own laundry for the first time and take care of myself in many other ways. It’s a time when I’m starting to become more independent and become an adult.

A big part of my life growing up was sports. I loved watching and playing sports and was a very active person. I started sports very young around age five. I played tee ball, flag football, basketball, mini-soccer, tennis, and golf. I continued all these sports as I grew up, but I slowly started dropping sports as I got older. Soccer was the first to go as I chose to play travel baseball over it when I was 10. I stopped playing golf early, but I’ve picked it back up and now play occasionally. Flag football stopped after sixth grade when most people started playing tackle football and I never picked it up. I played basketball up until high school when I knew I wasn’t good enough to try out and make the team. However, I still play basketball recreationally quite often. I played baseball my freshman year of high school, until I got cut sophomore year because I definitely didn’t throw hard enough. Tennis was the sport I continued the longest, playing up until my senior year in high school. It was also the sport I was most successful in, getting runner-up at state two times. I continue staying active by lifting weights and playing sports for fun. I’ve always loved watching sports, with Creighton basketball being my all-time favorite team. I’ve gone to games since I was born and Doug McDermott is my favorite athlete. My other favorite teams are the Philadelphia 76ers, Pittsburgh Steelers, Chicago Cubs, and now the Minnesota Wild.

Someone who has been a huge role model in my life is my oldest brother. He is someone who I look up to who I try to model my life after. He has had success in the professional world. He graduated from Creighton and got a nice job and now is going to a prestigious law school. He works extremely hard and has distinct career goals. He isn’t only successful in the professional world but has an excellent personal life. He is already married and has a child at the age of 26, which are two things I also strive to have one day. He is someone who I truly look up to in my life.
